Travis Hamonic returned to action for Brandon of the WHL earlier this week
I'm surprised this news went under the RADAR around here. I stumbled across the news completely by accident. Hamonic played in two games since his return, a 4-0 to Vancouver and a 3-0 to Chilliwack. He went scoreless with 2 PIMs. This is really good news as it seems he's about a month ahead of schedule.

Good news, I hope. I remember when talking to him for that interview after the WJC, he sounded intent on returning ahead of schedule. Assuming everything’s right and proper, this is huge that he didn’t miss as much action as first thought.
So Brandon’s clinched a playoff spot and is still within reach of first place — excellent.
