AFTER 40 MINUTES CZECH REPUBLIC-SWEDEN

The bad news for Sweden is that Gabriel Landeskog is likely gone for the WJCs and certainly for tomorrow's tilt with Canada. The good news is that they can win without him. They had a very impressive win against Russia 2-0 and are leading 6-3 against the Czechs in the third. Adam Larsson has looked very good as usual. Manned the second PP point and did an impressive job of maintaining puck control in the offensive zone. Had a helper on the third Swedish goal, although not on the PP. Was called for a questionable minor and the Czechs scored--although it was a soft goal without Lehner in the nets. No doubt he is being saved for Canada. Will make a more detailed report later.
