You might think the Isles are turning the corner, but if you look at their record under Capuano at this point, it's eerily similar to the record under Gordon. Both teams have a record of 4-9-3, both have miserable PP stats, both had long winless streaks, and a dearth of scoring 5-on-5. I'm not saying Gordon should have stayed, but is the team appreciably better? Not so far as I can see.... However, I still hold out hope that KO and Streit come back soon and strong. There still is a lot of hockey left, and the Isles in January seem to be a dangerous thing the last few years. Here's hoping.
