Hey guys...those who know me on this site know I am realistic. I have been a Islanders fan for 30 years and will always bleed blue and orange. Below is my estimation on the current roster. 'NHL future' is the line I project them to be on if they played for most of the other teams in the league. I added my comments (only my opinion of course) next to that.
Dom and I also have a non financial bet that JT will bolt when his EL deal expires. I hope to heaven that I am wrong, but I just cant seem him staying around when the club has not shown him a direction. Its Ok to say 'our farm system is stacked' but lets be real here. You never know how those players are going to develop once they hit the big time. There are a ton of players that looked great in the minors and just could not cut it in the NHL (Tambellini anyone?)
