Anybody up for another waiver stopgap?

Via USA Today's Kevin Allen, today's waiver wire includes the hightly-talented center Patrick O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan has seen a lot of success in juniors and the AHL. He's also been good enough to net 50 points in a single NHL season. Unfortunately, most people recognize him more because of his troubled upbringing and long-time physical and verbal abuse from his father.

He's 25 years old. Carolina didn't really show him much ice time in his brief stay there. It would cost the remainder of his $600,000 if the Isles claimed him; he also has a 2-way contract, FWIW. He will be RFA at the end of this season.
