The latest in cap dodging
If you're a New Jersey Devil, take my advice and READ THE FINE PRINT.
[Tomas] Bulik's agent, former NHL goaltender Andrei Trefilov, claims that what was represented as a document to help Bulik, a native of Slovakia, get a visa/work permit, turned out to be his release form.
Danius Zubrus and Brian Rolston just felt a cold sense of foreboding... as if millions of cap dollars cried out in terror - and then were suddenly silenced.
Said Bulik: "I put a signature just a month ago in the papers for the visa, and even in some public documents. They were all in Cyrillic, so I do not know what they are."
Great work by Sean Leahy for Puck Daddy on this one... so give the whole article your full attention. And lock your doors - Lou may be coming over with some papers that Ilya Kovalchuk may have helped to translate in his spare time.

Lighthouse Hockey: You say that like Streit and Okposo and Schremp and MacDonald were important.
Is this really true?
That is so f’ed up.
Let Us Go, Islanders! (Ever notice how strange that sounds without the contraction?)
In Russia
You don’t void contract, contract voids you!

He must have been wondering where he could “misunderstand” his signature when he was stuck on Ak Bars.
