key word there is ‘maybe’ even though this is very good news to hear, i think he understands that the fastest way to the NHL is by developing in N.A.
i think the thing to keep an eye on now is his ice time with Ak Bars, because if he’s not happy with it, we’re going to be benefit

Almost need to take any word from the KHL with a grain of salt. They certainly don’t have any incentive to make it easier for him to leave.

just read the quote in context and
it sounds as if KP was ready to bolt THIS year because of lack of ice time but his team convinced him to play out the season by promising more ice time. I suspect that if Garth can assure his agent that he will be on the fast track for the NHL, he is here next year. Then it will be a question of how much seasoning he will need in Bridgeport.
