Sillinger hired by Oilers
Well, that didn't take long. Steve Tambellini has brought recently retired Islander Mike Sillinger on as Edmonton Oilers director of player development.
You knew Sillinger had the mind to continue his career in hockey. Best of luck to him with the Oil.

Not surprinsing
Sillinger is really a good natured guy that seems to get along famously with everyone. He’d be perfect for that position as I’m certain lots of the young guys are gonna love having him around. Would I wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall as he relates his personal experiences.
I figured he was going to get a job somewhere like this. I figured Wang would offer him something as he seems rather fond of a lot of the guys that have played here and like to take care of em.
