dom you gotta look at it from his perspective. long in the tooth and looking to go out on a high note. course hes gonna be pissed with the islanders. mike milburys curse still taints your team. but i will say the best post game interview was guerins.

Oh, I’m totally seeing it from his perspective — sorry if that wasn’t clear. I’m sincerely happy for him, and happy it worked out.
He did just about everything that he was asked as captain. Didn’t handle the end/youth movement as well as possible, but he didn’t whine about it in the press — and I think he just had that long-in-the-tooth realization that he didn’t want to go out this way.
The only person I was happier to see raise the Cup tonight was Mario Lemieux — who I’d not thought about.
Congrats, man. What a night for you guys.

you have no idea. i actually teared up a bit when cbc did the post game with bill, dude was trying to keep it togeather but it just wasnt working out
