To be totally honest, I wasn't a huge fan of either team. I liked certain guys on the teams. ... I've never actually been to a Ranger game. Maybe I'd have to say I'm an Islanders fan?

Not a ringing endorsement, but we knew that. Sean Leahy, who conducted the interview, said Gilroy didn't reveal anything about where he's headed, so you might still bet on Toronto, who has the resources, roster space and cap room to throw the kind of money a player in Gilroy's situation would command.
