Allow me to marvel for a moment at the job James Mirtle has done assembling blogs to fill out SBN's NHL lineup, where there were (I think) six when he joined last Fall. I used to cruise SBN's baseball coverage and yearn for a day when all 30 NHL teams had sites with SBN's features. Thanks to James, that day has come.

Tastes vary, and I never mean to imply via links that each SBN blog is the authority on fan coverage of that team. But each one is a great jumping off point for all the coverage and blogs for a given team: a hub where everybody can weigh in and even cross-promote their own stuff. Plus, they're an easy way to interact with fans of other teams without breaking dishes.

But it doesn't stop at the NHL. In addition to the excellent Western College Hockey Blog, I have a hunch there is more to come.
