The worst fight I ever had was Bobby Nystrom in like '79. He had dumped the puck in by the penalty box, and they they didn't have the glass and the stanchion then, so I give him a little el-- uh, a little push. And he hit that thing so [hard]... and the crowd is roaring at the Garden and I'm looking around like, "Aw man, this is [great]."

And I turn around and there's this like, Tasmanian devil comin' at me. And he hit me so many times on the top of my head {rubs top of head}, I couldn't touch my head for like three weeks -- it was that sore. It wasn't cut or anything but ... so I knew fighting wasn't a big part of my future."
