Rangers profit from Cherepanov death
Unbe-f-ing-lievable. Apparently the Rangers will get the compensatory pick for not being able to sign a deceased person who is, by my understanding, neither "an unrestricted free agent" nor "eligible for the entry draft." But the NHL has lots of funny, obscure rules. Glen Sather must've delivered one helluva presentation.
The Palm Isle has a very amusing quick take.
