Florida sweep: Isles fall in Tampa Bay 1-0
Too bad. The Islanders just shot blanks tonight. They rebounded from a weak first period to outplay the Bolts, outshooting them 21-12 the rest of the way. But the late 3rd-period goal from Gary Roberts by a screened Yann Danis was enough, and rookie Mike McKenna earned this shutout in his 2nd NHL start.
Koci the Klown taking last week's misplaced justice out on Tim Jackman: weak. Jackman deciding Koci wasn't worth his five minutes in PIM and taking a Lightning D instead: astute.
