Well,
I’m staying away from this one.
NittanyWhiteOut.com. Arguably the second best Penn State blog I know of.
LOL
Understood. This one should be quieter.

The Toronto made mention that there was no one there again tonight. I wonder if that has anything to do with the lack of refunds and abuse of the fans from the past game?
Sooner or later someone is going to have to tell the truth about the Lighthouse Project and when they do I will probably be really old if not dead.
Dom,
You there? I’m finally online during a game.

Dom is most likely drinking heavily at the moment. :)

Correct!
But I made it in time to see highlights of a Tavares goal, to see our first line get dominated for a whole shift, and to see the auto-scoreboard at the top of this site claim it’s 3-0, when my TV says only 2-0.

Just commemorated Mad Mike and his.....
….appropriation of a Rangers fan’s shoe 31 (?) years ago on the Bruins telecast…..the gift that just keeps on giving – and perfect for ANY occasion!
Well, I am going to see the Christmas Carol movie. I don’t know if I can watch another one of these games…

I wanted to check my phone during the movie to see the score but after I saw that it was 2-1 I was both scared to check it and the other part of me was afraid that I would jump up in the middle of the movie screaming MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Merry Christmas!
Seriously, I tuned in to hear the Islanders were playing well, then promptly watched them rely on Roloson and let the Leafs get within one. Seriously considered turning it off for rabbit foot’s sake.

I’m just lovin’ that you’re alive and kickin’, buddy!
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
It’s nice to be alive, frankly. School took a lot out of me.

I can believe it. Been taking courses off and on … then wondering what happened to my sanity.

I know what happened to my sanity…I put it all into trying to be a physical therapist and not an online journalist. LOL

A sound and sane choice, I’d have to say. Since online journaling, my studies have become … poor to non-existent.

I can only imagine.

The announcers say the Isles are dominating...
…yet ever since I tuned in it’s been all Roloson. I’m feeling a little bit like a jinx at the moment.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
So, Sutton breaks his stick...
…how many is that tonight, 3?
The man is just too big for a mere mortal’s stick.

Just catching the highlights again
1. What a freaking shot by Hunter.
2. Wow, do I recognize that “fist pump of relief” from Tavares.

rollo
has made some great saves.our d is as bad as always. dont shoot me, but i think jt tries to do too much every time, and it leads to alot of turnovers
by Lakewood Islander on Dec 23, 2009 8:45 PM EST via mobile reply actions
I shoot you now
No seriously, I think that’s completely fair. He still has so much to learn. All the tricks in his toolbox, he had to try them and see what works at this level, what doesn’t work, and what will only work after opponents give him more space/respect out of fear. Honestly, for a 19-year-old I’m thrilled with how well he’s done so far.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
2-1 now
Not feeling good about my jinxing presence now. I should go take a walk…
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
Six minutes into the 3rd, still playing dead
Definitely should have stayed at the bar.

why cant they clear the freakin puck?
by Lakewood Islander on Dec 23, 2009 8:57 PM EST via mobile reply actions
weaklings!
how much better would they be if bailey and neilson were stronger and didnt get pushed around so much? i bet the team has the lowest average weight in the league
by Lakewood Islander on Dec 23, 2009 9:01 PM EST via mobile reply actions
For the record, Josh put on like 15lbs over the offseason. He’s a lot stronger on the puck than last year.

Jaffe: 'Playing with fire, the Islanders are'
Indeed. Come on, boys. Two-day holiday around the corner. You have a one-goal lead. See those home fans? Show ’em you can finish the deal.
12th place is on the line!
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
where is Tambellini?
i just remembered that we have a guy on our roster that can score a little. Has his practices been that bad? at least showcase him for trade bait!

Sitting where you sit when you’re a sniper with one goal since October?
No, I’m not down on him and don’t think he should sit for such long stretches, but I don’t think he’s the missing link, either.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
I want to have Roloson's baby
And I agree with Jaffe saying that was the hockey gods apologizing for the blown icing call.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
YEAH BABY!
I LOVE the automatic empty-net goal. Comeau has earned it.
…and there I was thinking Nate Thompson would continue his 40-goal pace of the last few games.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
comeau again!
Somebodys gotta join the Bandwagon?!!

Leafs fans are confused by the awarded goal
The rulebook is your friend. Even in partisan situations. Especially in partisan situations.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
Well, that was random and scary and satisfying, all at once.
TWELFTH PLACE! WHERE’S MY TITLE BELT?!
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
Im pretty darn sure...
that jt won at least 2 whole faceoffs tonight!
by Lakewood Islander on Dec 23, 2009 9:27 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Tavares with the 1st star?
Hell, just off one period my vote goes to Roli. Plus, I’m gonna have his baby.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
great win ,but...
im still praying for taylor hall
by Lakewood Islander on Dec 23, 2009 9:29 PM EST via mobile reply actions
These are not mutually exclusive
We can win the random game and hope for a draft prize. Hell, we can get a standings point per game and still be within sneezing distance of top-five pick territory.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
A good, not great, game.....
…..and a definite confidence-builder going into the holiday:) Yayyyyyy, JT!!!!
VERY nice to get him back on the board before the holiday. You know those snipers, always feel they gotta be scoring or they get messed up in the head.
