Around SBN: Has Kentucky Improved Since the Non-Conference Season?

What a story. I've been following this via Forechecker but almost afraid to mention (and jinx) it: Former Devil, Maple Leaf and Blackhawk Steve Sullivan resumes his Predators career after two years on the shelf with back issues.

Last time he suited up, he had 60 points in 57 games. If this were in a bigger market, there'd be a lot more heartstring-tugging coverage.

Yeah they gave him a lil nod during the Pens debacle the other night. Pretty hardcore if you ask me.

Wow, that’s a nice gesture. I imagine he has a lot of friends around the league pulling for him.

Fantasy Value?

I’ve had him stashed away on IR for a few weeks now. Selfish reason to root for a comeback, I know. But I need assists and power play assists.

Seriously, though, amidst the Avery and Ruutu headlines, I hope Sullivan can withstand the rigors of the NHL game and a lot of people get to hear about it.

Astute move

Ha, I hadn’t thought of the fantasy implications. Hope he delivers on that count and stays healthy.
