Al Arbour (full res' here) as a Chicago 'Black Hawk' in 1953. Bitter Leaf Fan found some beautiful old-time hockey shots at LIFE's newly browsable photo archives. Images of old snowy ice and Bobby Hull are pretty stunning. To think how fans back then missed out on the FoxTrax glowpuck.
